How do I register a team for the league?
To register a team for the Adult Flag Football league at Swift Sports Dome, start by creating a DaySmart account if you are new to our facilities.
Once you have a DaySmart account, you can register your team for the desired season by clicking any of the “Register” buttons located in the upcoming leagues section above, provided that registration is still open and the deadline has not yet passed.
What are the membership and player card requirements for participating in leagues at Swift Sportsdome?
All adult players must have a current membership and a valid player card to participate in any league game at Swift Sportsdome. This ensures that only rostered members participate. Players must present their player card to SSD staff or the referee before each game. Those with expired or no memberships, or without a player card, will be required to leave and can only return with a valid card or a temporary pass. Memberships can be purchased online via your DaySmart account or in person at the snack bar, where you can also have your photo taken and player card printed.

What are the jersey requirements for teams?
Teams must have matching jerseys. If jerseys do not match, teams will be required to wear pennies provided by the Reno Sportsdome. Players’ jerseys must be tucked into shorts or pants if they hang below the belt line. Alternatively, jerseys can be knotted or taped to ensure they do not interfere with the flags.
What equipment and attire rules must players follow in flag football games at the Reno Sportsdome?
The Reno Sportsdome provides flag belts for all games. Players are not allowed to wear cleats; only tennis shoes or turf shoes are permitted. Flags must be worn parallel to the playerโs side and on the hip. Players may tape their forearms, hands, or fingers, and wearing gloves is allowed. However, braces with exposed metal are not permitted, and any casts must be wrapped in padding and approved by the referee before play.
What are the minimum player requirements for starting and continuing a game?
Teams must consist of at least five players to be fully registered. A game can start with a minimum of three players. If a player is injured during the game, a team may continue playing with two players, but no fewer than two players are allowed to continue the game.
